ER doctors are urging mandatory CPR training in high schools as well as training senior citizens because they are most likely to witness a cardiac arrest. People are 3 to 4 times more likely to survive cardiac arrest outside of a hospital if CPR is performed, but just over 1 in 4 Canadians are trained to do CPR or perform first aid.
